EXAMPLE OF DESIGN CAPABLITIES:

In the interest of energy conservation, our office was recently selected as one of the first firms in the country to design a dedicated heat recovery chiller project (prime mechanical) for a dormitory at Keesler AFB. Our office was not only involved in the design of this project, but since it started out as just an idea, we were heavily involved in developing  a scope prior to the design phase. Since there was a constant need for chilled water in the dormitory, this building was selected as a test facility so that the heat recovery chillers would supplement chilled water to the building's chilled water plant and as a byproduct deliver hot water to supplement both the domestic hot water needs and the building's space heating needs. This project has been in operation for approximately six months and has been proven successful to date. Our office recently completed design of two more dormitories and two dining facilities on the base using this same design criterion. It is the understanding of this firm that in the near future this type of design will be incorporated into the remainder of the existing dormitories on the base. The completed project has recently been given an award for energy conservation projects by the U.S. Air Force.
